Ladies and Gentlemen, after 17 days of sterling work Colne Valley Chaos Christmas is complete!
There are two versions available - the Internet distribution version (in MP3 format) and the CD version. You can download the Internet version here:
>>> Colne Valley Chaos Christmas <<<
The files for the CD version are on the FTP server. File names have been numbered so your CD burning software will recognise which order the tunes go in. All files have been standardised to CD quality WAV or AIFF files. The cover for the CD is in the folder "cover" (naturally enough) for those of you with FTP access.
I'll be burning a dozen or so tomorrow for distribution to friends of CVC on Christmas Eve. Please feel free to make your own CDs for friends, family, enemies, people you pass in the street, postal workers and so on.
Everyone deserves a big fat slap on the back. This has been an ace project. For me, this is what this blog was conceived as - a supportive environment for us to collaborate and share our crappy music. Hurrah for Colne Valley Chaos!

Yeh baby! Fantastic news, nice one for putting all this madness together Karl & looking forward to checking it out! Max respect to all involved & merry xmas CVC styleeee!
Yippee! ;)
like the tracklisting - gonna download them new tracks now...
I've just listened to it in its entirety and it kicks bottom.
However, I'm going to remaster the final track, It Isn't Even Christmas, as it peaks in places and has several pops in it.
Done.
Phew...
I've got a couple of other collaborative ideas now - but I'll give it a couple of months before springing them...
i'm going to create a new page on the main site dedicated to the CVC compilations - might even record the old CVC comps and put them up for download! Also, obviously any new comps will be featured on the same page.

Can't wait for Halloween - then the full force of CVC Insanity will be released !!!! ;-)
There should be some metadata on the Mp3's Otherwise it all gets lost when I import it to iTunes and sync to my iPod.
DONE.
Got some positive feedback from Ebony's family - Her Mum's favourites were 'Eat a Pie at Christmas' and 'Jingle Hell'!
