Xanadu - Canadian Rock In a Colne Valley Styley...
This is another track that I wanted to post on the Priapus page when first putting tracks on the site. Really just because it was a Rush track, but Kips was not having any of it.
I do know that Farewell to Kings by Rush was one of Kipz first Rock albums, dunno if he thought of doing a cover version. But that is just what Priapus did, and you can here all of it's Prog Rock Splendour right here.
Xanadu - by Priapus
here's the original for comparison...

I can understand why Kipz didn't want this in the public domain. 10 out of 10 for technical merit though -
It's just that those drums sound like someone dropping pebbles on tin foil.
Imagine if Thatcher had made it compulsory for every Sixth Former to receive a load of top rock kit including a massive marshall stack, double necked guitars, phophet 5's, fairlights and theramins! The world would be a better place, would it not?
Yes. It would.
Instead, all our Sixth Form had was a bass combo that some kid had made in CDT. And I blew it up, playing little known Glass Orchard composition "Feeling the Space".
Foggy, please hyperlink that picture so we can see it bigger.
OK - Linked! I know the track is not the best but it makes me piss me pants in places - the out of tune glockenspieley bits and doing a yorkshire impression of Geddy Lee. Lovely...
BWAHAHAHAHA!
Danny has ONE GLOVE ON!
I shouldn't laugh... I used to go on stage wearing a trench coat.
frikkin' nora!!
I am sat at work - doing some serious stuff in an office (not dissimilar to the original breadhead conspiracy) and listening to this Xanadu track and I just laughed my effing nose off and splattered snot all over my desk!!
Hi ArcticFox, what's happening to your blog? Have you knocked it on the head?
Hey Wevs - glad we made you snook!
